How to get Google Maps API Key

In order for Google Maps to work on your website, you’ll need to set Google Maps API key. Follow these steps to obtain an API Key for Google Maps:

Navigate to https://console.developers.google.com/apis/

Login with your Google account and click “Google Maps JavaScript API” under “Google Maps APIs”

1. Select your existing project or create new and go to Credentials

2. Click “Create credentials” and select API key

3. Copy the API key

4. Click “Restrict key” and on the following screen give it a recognizable name, choose “HTTP referrers” option and set your website
